Took my BIL to the indoor range to give his brand new Glock 17 he bought at Cabela's last month a workout. He brought that, a Model 10 his father gave him and 150 rounds for each. I brought my P6, Smith and Wesson 59 and 300 rounds of 9mm.
The BIL's a Fudd. Shoots maybe 3, 4 rounds a year if that shooting Bambi, so a shooting session like today was an experience. He couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with the model 10, but he's nearly a Jedi Master with the Glock.
Blew his mind. He's so much in love with his 17 I asked the range guys if they had a Bridal Registry. He shot through all his ammo and about 2/3 of mine before we packed up. He very well likely shot more ammo today than he's ever shot in his life, definitely more than he's ever shot at one time.
Looks like we're doing this again next week.
