Dusted off a few guns that haven’t been out of the safe in a while. I had all but stopped shooting rimfires before the last ammunition panic. I figured I still need to be shooting something every chance I get and since I still have a pretty decent stock of 22LR ammo, I started buying some guns chambered in 22LR in the last few months. Figured I ought to at least own one scoped rifle chambered in 22LR. Well, now I own three. The dang things just keep multiplying. Anybody else find themselves shooting more rimfire these days? I love my .22s! I've shot them more in the past 5 years than I did in the 10 years before that. What's not to love?

sure do. I should take a pic of them next time I'm going through the safe, but my collection is a bit smaller than the assortment in the OP. however, I don't see a Ruger standard there. For a .22 target pistol, certainly recommend a MK2 version.

Indeed it is. It belonged to my dad’s oldest brother. Dad inherited it when my uncle died in an accident at the age of 16. When dad passed in 2015, it became mine. I drag it out and put a few rounds through it a couple times a year.[/QUOTE
I got mine from my dad also. I was about 14. My dad was not a gun guy so I’m not sure how he got it.
It’s been sitting in the gun safe too long. I think I’ll take it to the range next time I go.

With .22LR prices hovering at 20 cents per, even the rimmys are off the table for the time being.

I have 7K .22LRs stocked up and will not be expending any of them until prices return to sane levels. I won't use what I won't want to spend to afford to stock up the ones I have.

Prices haven’t been anywhere near that locally. I was complaining yesterday about spending ten cents per round on bulk stuff.

Good looking bunch of .22s!

Ive been looking forward to a Saturday free so I could go play with all of my guns, but my .22s in particular....unfortunately between being sick, work, sick work, life, and work, I haven't gotten to burn powder in over a month...getting antsy.
So much so just had my ffl buddy order a Christensen Ranger for me....
