I carry a Kershaw Skyline most of the time because I like the light weight and the flipper. I really prefer back lock knives but there's something about the Skyline that just feels right to me.
The other two decent knives I own and carry from time to time are a Byrd Flight and a Cold Steel AK47. I like them both. The Cold Steel AK47 is the new model with the back lock or whatever Cold Steel calls their version of a back lock. IMHO, It's a bit overpriced for the quality of steel, but it has a lot of features I like and just looks kinda nasty.
The Byrd Flight is another back lock, pretty solidly built, and seems like good value.
