A Handed down gun needinf identified

    This is a CAL..22 L.R. only markings on it are E28314 , CAT.885 , capital BC in a box PSF onoutside left of box and on the right side of box is a G and Twith some sort of design with a star in the middle opf it. on the barrel it says MOD.EA SA-F.T.-MADE IN ITALY HELP ME PLEASE

    This is a WAG, but it sounds like you have an old European Arms Colt replica single action revolver, in 22 caliber.

    You should post a picture.

    Another guess, Giuseppe Tanfoglio (GT) introduced a .22 single action in 1965 called the Buffalo Scout, after 1970 it was made by Fratelli Tanfoglio (FT).
