About 15 years ago, I had a Weatherby mark v deluxe chambered in 270 Weatherby magnum. I shot it some. Didn’t hunt with it, just enjoyed it. I got the itch to trade and swapped it off.
I remember Walmart had Remington 270 weatherby ammo for 17 a box. That’s all I shot. The next cheapest was like $35 a box. It still is about the cheapest weatherby cartridge.
The irony was, I sold the brass for the same price I paid for the ammo. I kept my mouth shut when selling.
Sure wish I had that rifle back, and those prices!
