One thing about those amerc cases- they are sneaky! I had one slip in the other day and jammed half way to battery. Took quite a while to coax it out with it hung on the extractor. As previously suggested I missed the recycle stamped on the end (amerc) and did not crush it!

I had about a dozen amerc .45 ACP cases sneak into my stash of brass. Although they tumbled clean and ran fine through the press, not a single one if them would fit in my case length gauge. All of them got their bullets pulled immediately and the brass crushed and chucked into the recycle can.

I'm pretty sure I got all of them now.

Karys, you just think you got them. They're like Murphy, they will return and at the worst possible time.

What's the story on their cases?

My experience was that Amerc cases would not hold the primers. The brass was so thin and so soft the case heads expanded and primers fell out of once loaded Amerc 45 ACP cases. The stuff was garbage.

Others have had worse experiences.

If you find Amerc, take a hammer and flatten the case so you don't accidentally reload it.

A roll sizer fixes the extractor grove problem of them but that doesn't make them good brass...
