The one on top is a very early model 8 and is in the style of the knife that Francis Gary Powers had when he was shot down in his U-2 plane over Russia on May 1, 1960.

A Randall knife and a High Standard model H-D military .22 silenced pistol was part of the gear carried on that flight. Several attempts and requests have been made to have them returned. They have been denied.
