A Question for Oleg.

It's been a long time my friend, but I was reminded of you today when I read the following from an interview of Don Paul posted at: http://freedom4um.com/cgi-bin/readart.cgi?ArtNum=37665&Disp=0

The last little book I did, To Prevent the Next " '9/11' " / Abandoning the 'New World Order' of Financiers' Corporate State, notes that three officials from the Soviet Union's KGB,, Yevgeny Primakov, Alexander Karpov and Oleg Kalugin, are now executives in the U. S. Department of Homeland Security and Markus Wolf, former head of East Germany's STASI, now heads surveillance for Homeland Security.

I said to myself, "I wonder what Oleg makes of this?"

So, what do you make of this? hehehe

In case you don't remember, I was the original webmaster for the 2A Sisters, and you kindly allowed me to make use of some of your work on their first website back in 2000.

You know what these guys are capable of. Does this give you the creeps like it does me?

I guess I should research it a bit to make sure it is accurate, but it's not the first time I have read this.

Now that Oleg's had his say, I'll add my $.02. There's plenty of historical precedent.

Reminds me a bit of when the U.S. snapped up Von Braun, and all the other German V2 engineers they could at the closing days of WWII, and they wound up as the head engineers at NASA…

Now if these people are being used for their specific technical, procedural, or bureaucratic insight they may possess, with the proper oversight. Then perhaps it's a prudent move. Perhaps the "evil" they did, was simply a product of being good at what they did, but under a corrupt regime.

If these people are conducting themselves in a manner that subverts American jurisprudence or the constitution, now that's a problem…

With the huge anti-Bush sentiment in the MSM right now, I would imagine if these guys were doing anything out of line, they'd get exposed and raked over the coals quite quickly as part of the whole "Patriot Act - Erosion of Freedom" theme that's been popular for the past few years.

I've been looking around, and I find that they were not hired by DHS, but possibly by the Information Awareness Office (IAO) of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). IAO had a webpage on the DARPA website but it has now disappeared. There was some controversy over the IAO logo used on the site, which was changed at some point, and now is totally gone.

There doesn't seem to be any mainstream news info on the claim that these guys were indeed hired by anyone. Charlotte Iserbyt from News With Views has a bit on this here:

There's not much concrete evidence either way. The secretive nature of this though may be an important clue.

This guy thinks the World Trade Center was brought down by "controlled demolition" and you wonder why you can't find much on what he is talking about? Must be due to the "secretive nature" of the information.
