The Post printed this story today about the local bleeding heart liberal who wants all kids tried as kids, even if they commit cold blooded murder.
Due to some recent shootings in the ghetto, what else is new, he got together with the local sheriff to hand out gun locks supplied by the NSSF thru their nation program Project ChildSafe, to try and stem the tide of shootings, he believes.
The Post quoted the NSSF rep for this project, Steve Alger with the following;
"The key to prevention is education," Alger said. "Those three seconds it takes to install a gun lock can save a child's life."
My questions to NSSF is:
How many seconds are the home invasion thugs supposed to wait while you remove said trigger lock?
How many supposedly saved lives of children are worth the lives of adults who can't remove the lock in time to protect themselves?
When was the last time you saw a gang banger with a lock on his/her gun?
Go ahead and push the locks.
When a bunch of politicians get it passed as law, like in California where some kids were pitch forked to death because the father was following the law and the kids couldn't get to the guns to protect themselves from a maniac and people start dying, I hope all you NSSF guys sleep well at night.
