I have several rifles in .223 capable of very good accuracy, including a Ruger #1V, a Tikka T3 Lite, and an AR-15 with a PSA upper (1:7 twist, 20" FN chrome lined). My mission was to find a single load that gives great results in all three.
Extensive testing with the Ruger revealed that it would not group sub-MOA with anything but it's own brass sized in a Lee Collet neck sizer, so the goal had to be scaled back to just the Tikka and AR.
After many trials, I found just the load. It features a Sierra 52 gr. HPBT Match bullet, 25.3 gr. H335, Lake City brass resized in an RCBS small base die, and Remington match primers, with a COL of 2.218".
