Just another one of those experiences to share, looking for some sympathy.
I go into a local gun store the other day, and see a Remington target rifle on the wall. I ask the counter man how much it is. He says he doesn't know, and couldn't sell it to me anyway, since the store's owner has listed it on one of the auction sites. Which one? Doesn't know. Seller's ID? Doesn't know.
A couple of days ago, I'm on an auction site and see a Ruger pistol. I put a bid on it wait to see how it runs through to its end on Sunday. Today I receive an email saying it was sold out of the store, so the auction was cancelled, sorry.
Oh well, I guess I should be happy for not spending the money either way.
