Got these as stocking stuffers for 2 of the kids, and my hunting buddy. They are made by Mora, licensed by Bahco (Snap On owns Bahco), and made in Sweden. For 11 bucks each, not bad at all! :D

Yeah!!

Much like yourself I took the opportunity to stock up.

$100 worth will fill your satchel plum to the brim and make you the darling of family holiday gatherings. ;)

Ok, it's just creepy that you're always one step ahead. :)

perado, south africa and botswana, wart hog, several species of antalope, wildabeast(two kinds),zebra and kudo. i used CZ 550,s in 7mm mag and 375 H&H mag. i spent a month in africa hunting and sight seeing. i am going back in may of next year, i already have my plane ticket(1181.00 round trip) and i hope to get a eland, waterbuck, hartabeast and maybe a orix or a cape buff. i could not live there, but its a nice place to go hunting and sight seeing. its not as costly as one would thing, when compared to a 4000-5000 dollar western large elk hunt. eastbank. ps the plane ride is long and a pita.

Joberg to London then on to stateside. With a stop for fuel someplace not mentioned and we were told to stay on the plane and in our seats.
Course this was back in the mid 80's. An "Interesting" time to be in South Africa...:scrutiny:

Here are a couple of my new flavor of the month. Svord Peasant. The Mini is ok. I really like the ergos of the full size, with a little work on the handle.

The only problem with the polypropylene handles is you can't glue in a spacer. Here's how I handled that. I finally manned up and did all my Peasants at once. Maybe someone has found an easier way.

Hmmm, maybe that's why my deer season has been so full of bad luck...:uhoh:
Good thing my cat is a grey tabby.;)

About half-way through a full height convex regrind of a Condor Tool and Knife Kumunga.

Terrible, terrible factory grinds on most of the Condor knives I've handled recently. Condor makes some interesting stuff but I'm going to put them firmly in the "Do NOT purchase without inspection" category for the time being.

Paul LeBatard's Dixie Pixie

Saw the article and it caught my eye....finally came in last week. The fit, finish and workmanship is much better than I was expecting. This is a real nice knife, so nice I ordered another for a gift.
