What are you gonna do, register, transfer or destroy? What are your thoughts now? I guess if you don't register your "assault weapons" in a year you are a felon I guess?

I think many of us are still trying to wrap our heads around this. While I don't think I own an "assult weapon", I'm still confused about the statis of my 2A Enfield. It's got one of those "scarey" bayonet lugs and the magazine holds 12 rounds. Maybe someone can clarify for me? I wrote my state reps and told them to have Andy come get me because I'm not giving it up.

Anything that requires registration will go to my brother in Michigan, until I can afford to move.

Anyone one thinking of doing anything illegal really doesn't need to advertise it. Let's stick with the legal options. We do not condone any illegal activity at THR, especially when it involves guns.

How about work to destroy this idiotic piece of legislation?

Get with the state 2A groups and work on a lawsuit because of the flaws in the tossed together piece of legislation.

Work to replace those who voted for it and reelect those that spoke out against it.

Until the day with the courts say it can't go into effect or throw it out or you legislate it out of existence I'm sure there are plenty of places just across the border of NY where you can store your property so the state doesn't confiscate it.

No one is going to roll back the new legislation in New York. New York has been a liberal stronghold forever and this will only fortify that. Gun owners still voted for liberal politicians in New York despite their stance on guns. The loudest statement people have there is to move out and reduce the tax rolls.

I agree. Continuing to play on an obviously rigged table and expecting to win is crazy. NYers need to vote with their feet and their wallets.

The western half of the state should secede. Even Canada has better gun laws. :(

I feel for you guys.

as an otr truck driver, if i had the last load of dog food in the world and had to take it to new york, every dog would have to starve to death, i stopped delivering there a long time ago. they made their perfect hell, so i let them live in it without me, that's my opinion, Texas is 1 of 50 states, we provide 1/13 of the national income....new york needs Texas more than we need them............my advice, get out of there while the get'n is good, and come live with the real americans
