The American Association of Certified Firearms Instructors (AACFI) announces it will begin certifying instructors to provide basic Permit to Carry training for Missourians. The first instructor course will be in Kansas City on March 19-21, 2004.
AACFI is the only organization to date to receive Missouri Department of Public Safety certification. This certification allows AACFI to train and certify instructors and provides County Sheriff’s with the assurance that AACFI courses meet or exceed the required training for a permit to carry.
AACFI develops courses specifically for the states in which we operate. Missouri’s course will be tailored (in conjunction with local experts) to the statutes, case law and customs of Missouri. AACFI also retains attorneys in each state in which it operates. Instructors are regularly updated with changes in statutory and case law on a state by state and national basis. Answers to student questions submitted by instructors to AACFI’s academic support group are communicated to all instructors.
AACFI’s Instructors come from a broad range of diverse backgrounds; including law enforcement, legal, and education. AACFI instructors manage their own independent businesses. Because quality control over materials and the proper delivery of our course of instruction is paramount, AACFI retains the authority to insure quality delivery of our course of instruction by individual instructors.
