What one semi-auto pistol feels the best in your hand. Nothing else matters other than just how good it feels. I am basically talking about normal guns here, not purely target guns that do have custom made stocks to fit your hand like the Benelli .22lr target guns and such. I am talking about a gun that you can buy off the shelf and use it for several things like CCW, duty, home defense or plinking. Is there a pistol that almost feels like it was custom made for you because it fit your hand so well?

For me it is the Kahr T-9. Before I picked one of these up, it was the Kahr K-9 and before that, it was the Colt Gov .380. The Kahr T-9 may be a bit of an odd duck and I can't see Kahr selling many of them but it feels so nice in my hand that I am thinking of getting rid of one of my K-9s to make room for a T-9.

Strictly based on feel and on the guns I own....I'd go w/ my Italian Beretta 92fs. Every time I pick it (or one like it) up, it just feels right.

CZ p01 was made for me... IMO perfect ergonomics for a DA/SA auto with decocker... The decocker is completely instinctive to use... I don't think it get's much better than this...

BHP is also very good.

But I've taken to my springfield "loaded" 1911 Not because of perfect fit... But because I am mysteriously drawn to it.

1911. But then my body was still growing when I took them up and I just grew up around the gun, like a tree growing around an obstacle.

Bone stock 1911A1. Short trigger spur, rounded mainspring housing, regular grip safety, regular width grip panels. Fits me like a glove.

i would say a 1911 has a perfect girth on the grip not to large not too small.. I like my sig and walther grips though...

SIG P220.

Browning High Power and the S&W mod 39 are suppose to be among the best. I for one feel a 1911 with a flat mainspring housing to be very nice. In fact it took me awhile to notice to that I shoot my Ruger 22/45 better than my MKII and the 22/45 has that 1911 grip angle.

The MKII and the Luger and guns that have that type of grip angle are suppose to be comfortable but I think the 1911 beats them. The S&W Sigma was supposedly the subject of much research on the ergonomics of the human hand but I never thought it was really special.

That's insane man. The T9 is kind of obscure (or at least not common), but is what immediately came to mind when reading the title, and why I even jumped in here in the first place. Then I couldn't beleive you referenced it. We must have the same hands. I have never held anything as smooth as the T9. Maybe it's because it's a single stack with those incredible grips, but I still don't understand how something the identical height as a G19 (5") fits so much more (all) of my hand on it. My entire bottom palm pad hangs off a 19.

There are two on gunbroker. The one at collectors' that starts at 480 is the one I handled personally, except it had MMC's, and they are listing it as having night sights. It must be a mistake, unless they acquired another one. Very recently.

I completely understand how it impelled you to start this thread though. I do want one.

I just wish I hadn't read all those disgruntled posters in the GT Kahr club.

Well...

My Dan Wesson Razorback is excellent, so is my Glock Model 20, AND my Tanfoglio Witness! (Not in that order!)

Dayum! You'd have to ask this! That's like asking which is your favorite child!:(  :cuss: :banghead: :fire:

BHP, K9, 1911A1

Before shoulder surgery, the order of preference would have been different.

salty.
