Accessories for a SIG 716

I have a couple things I'd like to find for my newest toy. I am a southpaw shooter, and I love the ambidextrous mag release, but the charging handle is still a right handers game. I have looked around a bit and haven't had much luck in finding a reliable handle that is compatible with the 716. The smoothness in the action is by far one of my favorite features of this stunning rifle, so if I can maintain that slick action while expanding its usefulness I would be ecstatic!

I also want a brass catcher that looks nice and works well AND if you want to throw out any suggestions on optics, I'm listening. I have a pretty good idea of what I want already, but lets see if anyone can change my mind?!

Congrats on your 716, I have the 716 DMR, And love it, Sig makes a fine rifle for sure, On charging handle I could not find one that fits the Sig, Unfortunately this rifle is pretty much proprietary on parts, The DMR is more so yet. Do you have patrol or 3 gun, I have tried the brass catcher that velcros on and I am not happy with it. The one that fits on rail is supposed to be better. Scope get the best you can afford, I prefer Vortex for the money

Thanks for the reply ghost. I have don't quite a bit of searching myself and can't find anything worthwhile either. I guess I'll have to look into buying a decent handle and having it modified to fit my needs.

I have the patrol, and for the scope I went with a Redfield Battlezone with a 45 kicker mount. I need a good reliable reflex for it, but that will have to wait until I'm ready to drop more money on this rifle...I need to take a break from my crazy gun budget for a few months.
