Thinking of a .22LR revolver for the woman. She likes to shoot paper targets and goes for accuracy. What are our options?

I have an extremely acurate S&W K-22 Masterpiece. In later guns it would be called the M17. M18 is the same gun with a 4" barrel instead of the 6". The 617 would be the stainless version. All are terrific.
The Ruger Single-Six is also a fine choice but I have found the S&W's to be more accurate. YMMV.

I would look for a S&W model 17 or 18. The model 18 is available in a 4 inch and looks like a model 15. Either are very accurate. These are DA/SA revolvers. In a single action revolver I still think Ruger is the way to go. The single six is a excellent revolver and affordable. Also, the small bearcat is also a good choice for someone with small hands.

I have a Colt New Frontier, it was made in 1972. Mine came .22lr and .22 mag, it is single action with adjustable sights. This is by far the most accurate pistol I have shot. If you can find one for a decent price I would jump on it. Heck I always have my eyes open for another one.

My first handgun at 14 in '65 was a S&W MOdel 18 - aka K22 Combat Masterpiece 4" Bbl. ramp front and W&E adj. rear - The MOdel 17 K22 Target
Masterpiece 6" usually but some 8 38" Bbl. variants are out there. THe 18
has standard trigger and hammer, the 17 has larger target hammer and
trigger. They're both on the medium K-Frame both are 6 shot cylinders & in the mid 30 oz. range
I have a 617 6" Bbl. 10 shot cyl. and it's very nice but with the
full underlug it's 45 oz. The 18 & 17

available with the 5" Bbl. the 63 is all stainless steel and has an
8 shot cylinder Older 63s, are 6 shot cylinder. This year they've dropped
tthe ungainly 5" bbl. and now offer the 63 with a 3" Bbl. It has a ramp front
sight and adj. W&E rear. It's in the 27 oz. range

I have a pre model 17 K22 and a H&R Sportsman 9 shot top break that are both very accurate revolvers.

I bought a ruger single six, which my son quickly claimed. its a more than accurate gun, thats for sure.
How accurate? How much? Must it be a DA revolver?
If price and SA/DA don't matter, then maybe a SA revolver from Freedom Arms.
Otherwise, a used S&W M17, M18, or K-22, or a new (or used) 617. I have a newish 4" 10-shot 617 and a vintage 6" K-22 Masterpiece. Both are fine guns, but the 10-shot capacity on the 617 makes it a bit more versatile. The full underlug on the 617 makes the 6" version feel muzzle heavy for many, though.
The DA trigger pull on a .22LR revolver can be stiff, and takes a lot of practice to master, but the SA trigger on Smiths is usually very good.
My wife and I went shooting this morning. I took my 617, but she preferred my Ruger MkIII.
No matter what .22LR you buy, it'll take some experimentation to find the ammo the gun shoots most accurately.

My two personal favorites are my S&W 6" M-17 K-22 or my Colt 4" Diamondback...I actually like how the Colt points a little better

My choice would be one of the following and any of these would be a good choice: [1] S&W Model 17 (6"), [2] S&W Model 18 (4"), S&W Model 617 (4" or 6", I like the 4"), [4] Colt Trooper Mark III 6", [5] Colt Officers Model Match (6"), or [6] Colt Diamondback (4" or 6"). I would not choose anything made by Taurus, High Standard, H&R, Charter Arms, or Rossi if you are expecting a premium revolver. They all shoot, but they are not premium guns nor were they intended to be premium guns. You'll pay for any of these preferred choices, but you'll get over it when she is very happy plinking targets.
In a single action, I would choose a Colt New Frontier (6") with both 22LR and 22WMR cylinders, or Ruger Single Six.

My girlfriend likes my S&W 34 with a 4 inch barrel. Its smaller than the K-22 and plenty accurate. Fits her perfectly. I'd recommend it along with those already mentioned, especially if the size of the gun is an issue for her.

Long since discontinued, but still can be found sometimes.
I had one that I bought NIB, back in 1971; but didn't have enought sense
to keep it~! Traded it, along with a perfectly good 4" Smith & Wesson
model 57 [with a "S" serial prefix] .41 magnum; for a well used nickel S&W
model 29 .44 magnum. This was during the "Dirty Harry" craze, that swept
the nation; oh what a blunder on my part~!

Another vote for the K-frame S&W revolvers. A Model 17 with its 6" barrel or a Model 18 with a 4" barrel.
