Actual date of "The Lock"

To spin off of SnWnMe's thread, does anyone know the actual date the lock was added? I've been looking around for it, and was checking The Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson hoping for an answer. The book only goes up to 2001 and the last thing listed in their chronological history is S&W being purchased in 2001. Nothing about the lock in there that I could see, not even in any of the pictures. It must be recorded somewhere!

Know what Titus - I am unsure too - I have two revo's with ''spider-holes'' but danged if I know how long they have been added. So yeah - anyone know!?

IIRC Saf-T-Hammer acquired S&W in May 2001, about 1.5 years following the HUD Agreement. The hole appeared across the product line shortly thereafter and S&W became wholly undesireable even moreso than when they were just selling out to the antis wholesale.
