I have a Savage Axis that I shoot from a bipod and recently took it and shot it in a f-class comp.
Well, I like the rifle but it has a lot of jump to it since it is lightweight.
I was wondering if adding weight inside the hollow buttstock would help reduce some of this, since I grip the rifle near the trigger while shooting it prone. Left hand is up near the trigger while right hand is right behind that on the buttstock adjusting left and right for wind age.
Any and all thoughts are appreciated.
