I would appreciate guidance on windage adjustment on an Enfield No 4 Mk 2(F). Do I use the Enfield front sight adjustment tool, or is there another means of adjustment?

Also, just curious what years were this Enfield model produced? I am thinking later 1940s but was not sure. Thanks

From one of my fellow members at Enfield Rifles a couple of years ago. I know he is active there. If you are interested PM me, and I'll check if he still makes them. Easy to use tool. MOA adjustments by degree of bolt turn.
A great forum for all things Enfield. www.Enfield-Rifles.com

FYI: I have a never-mounted W&E adjustable sight assembly for No.4s. Without getting it from my safe, I believe it is a Parker-Hale. It requires minor fitting, I think. And it is a hunting/user sight rather than a target sight.

I have no No.4s and am unlikely to acquire one. If such a sight interests you, let me know. I'll get accurate information from its manual and metal itself.
