Oregon Firearms Academy LLC is conducting a two-day Advanced Defensive Handgun Course at the Central Oregon Shooting Sports Assn. (COSSA) Range in Bend Oregon.
This is an advanced level course and requires those attending to have had previous professional defensive handgun training. This course will emphasize a student's use of cover, movement, distance, team tactics, and communication. During the course students will have opportunities to go through a tactical building simulator in order to solve problems inside an enclosed environment.
Students will also be introduced to single-handed shooting and handgun manipulations including single-handed reloading and clearing of malfunctions with either hand on demand. Throughout the course students will be moving and shooting while engaging moving or dynamic/animated threats.
