At the rally in Marietta a couple of hours ago, Adventure Outdoors and their Attorney, Bob Barr, announced a $400,000,000 (Four hundred million dollar) lawsuit against Bloomberg, personally, filed in the Superior Court of Cobb County, Georgia. They have also asked the Attorney General of Georgia, Thurbert Baker, to look into any laws that may have been broken by NYPD detectives and their agents as they pursued Bloomberg's agenda.

Great news. I'm glad someone is challenging the legality and liability of what he is doing.

When the Paypal thing is all straightened out I will donate. Or just post the email address to send the donation to.

Glad to hear it. When those Bloomberg agents filled out those forms, they lied on the very first question when is asks if you are going to be the sole owner of the gun. They new that was a lie and should be arrested just like you and me would have been if we had of done the same thing. I am glad someone is standing up to Blommberg.

Bob Barr Sues NYC's Bloomberg Over Gun Laws

Former U.S. Rep. Bob Barr filed a lawsuit against New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg on Thursday, claiming Bloomberg's attempt to crack down on gun dealers was "careless, willful and clearly illegal."

The lawsuit, filed in Cobb County Superior Court, is in response to a federal lawsuit filed by Bloomberg in May alleging that 15 firearm brokers in five states, including Georgia, were "rogue gun dealers."

Bloomberg's chief spokesman, Stu Loeser, dismissed the suit as a "public relations stunt."

Bloomberg recently went to Georgia and discussed gun control with the mayor of Atlanta, who is part of his coalition of mayors against gun violence.

Barr said his client, Smyrna gun dealer Adventure Outdoors, was deceived and defamed by Bloomberg's lawsuit. His lawsuit seeks $400 million in damages.

"We didn't start this fight. They did," Barr told a cheering crowd in Marietta's city square. "But we intend to finish it and win."

Bloomberg's lawsuit claims that the dealer sold 21 guns over a seven-year period that were used in New York crimes. The shop's owner, Jay Wallace, said his name has been "trashed in the public eye of the nation."

"I've run my business with honesty and integrity, and I take pride in being part of the firearm industry," he said.

The announcement took on a patriotic tune as flag-waving supporters cheered the news of the lawsuit and danced.

"We will fight to prove the Constitution of the United States is still intact, and that Mr. Bloomberg's fight to abolish the Second Amendment must and will fail," said Edwin Marger, a lawyer who filed the lawsuit with Barr.

"Mayor Bloomberg is fighting to protect police officers and citizens from illegal guns, which has nothing at all to do with the Second Amendment," Loeser said.

The Republican mayor has made cracking down on the flow of such guns into New York a principle goal of his second term in office.

Bloomberg's lawsuit asks the federal court to order supervision and extra training for the gun dealers in Georgia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Virginia. It also seeks some damages and compensation.

Gun shop sues New York City mayor

SMYRNA, Ga., July 21 (UPI) -- A lawsuit filed by a Georgia gun shop and 14 others reportedly accuses New York City Mayor and media mogul Michael Bloomberg of an illegal undercover sting.

The suit by Adventure Outdoors Inc. in Smyrna, Ga., and other gun dealers alleges Bloomberg organized an illegal and "nefarious" undercover sting on the small business, reports the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

The legal action reportedly stems from claims that weapons from some of these shops were used in more than 500 crimes committed in New York.

The lawsuit by the gun dealers was announced by privacy advocate and former U.S. Rep. Bob Barr in Marietta, Ga., the report said.

Barr was quoted as claiming that Bloomberg, in his fervor to limit violence, had "slandered" his client.

In the suit, Adventure Outdoors sought answers from Bloomberg as to how the guns were traced back to the business.

By doing this, didn't the buyers commit several felonies by doing this??? They had no legal authority to do anything like this there. Can someone fill me in on the legal issues.

Nah, Michael Bloomberg is Mayor of New York City. New York's mayors, like New Orleans' and Chicago's, can do whatever they want. They're not ordinary people. They lay out the laws. They don't follow them. And the people who keep such mayors in office seem to like them very much. :)

I hope adventure wins!

as soon as I can I will send a donation, rino bloomburg should be made to do as much time as you or I would get for the same "crime"
