Advice on 9 mm

I absolutely love my Springfield XD9 sub compact and my XDM9. Great guns. Compact has over 2k rounds through it with not one ftf or fte.

Springfield XDM or Walther P99. If you're a bit more concerned about concealability, Walther PPS.

CZ makes a great gun just not a very good trigger...but if your coming from a revolver background eliminating the Glock seems like a big oversite.

But whatever floats your boat. Maybe look at a Sig 226 or HK P30 as an alternative.

All three of my CZ's have had great triggers out of the box, and they've only gotten better with use. They can be easily modified with a trigger job if you don't like the trigger.

I just purchased a Ruger sr9c. 600 rounds and zero problems with 2 types of factory and my reloads. it also has a super trigger. and is as accurate as my 92f(easily holds a 2 inch group at 20 yards)

It is the best of both worlds to me. you get a 10 round mag for concealment and a 17 round mag that extends the gun to a full sized grip.

I love this gun and you really get a lot for the money.

I'm a huge fan of the M&P 9c. Great ergonomics, crazy accurate, plenty of rounds, and right in your price range. I picked up a very lightly used one for a little over $400.

Pukindog,

Sounds like you want a Walther P99 or P99c. Best 9mm on the market. Be sure to get the AS trigger.
