Looking for advice and especially first hand knowledge on the CZ RAMI in .40.
I'm a .40 fan as I own several...I'm looking hard at this pistol as a carry.

Do any of you own one?
Anyone have anything good or bad to say about it?

I've searched the internet for pricing...but that is always so subjective. Anyone know what I should realistically expect to pay for one?

I value ya'll's advice...haven't steered me wrong yet!

Regards!

Bud's Guns has four of them at $454/ea. Then add for FFL to handle it for you.

After spending some time on the CZ forums I'm not convinced the problems with the RAMI in 40 are solved. I think in 9mm they are find. I had the RAMI polymer in 9mm and sold it. I got a good price on it used at a local shop and bought it as a possible carry gun. In the end I didn't like it enough to replace my SP101 so although the RAMI was an excellent little pistol it went on to a new home.

I own an older Rami. I had numerous FTFs on it when I first got it & was a little concerned until I changed magazines. Now it runs like a top. It was originally going to be DWs CCW but it kicks a little too hard for her so she's packing a CZ 82 & the RAMI has become my house gun. Total price NIB 429.00$
You could do a lot worse

I have the RAMI .40 and it is a great firearm. No problems at all. I bought it about this time, last year. I paid $550 for it OTD. It carries very well, has all the features I like, trigger is pretty good for stock and points naturally for me. The downside is that the things kicks harder than a mule with it's nuts caught in a vise.
Now I am not recoil sensitive but this thing bruises me up and after 75 rounds or so, I am done for the week.
When I bought mine there weren't many options on a holsters for it but I think ubgleathers or something like that makes one for it also.
Enjoy!

Thanks for all the feedback. I bought one this past Saturday. Haven't shot it yet...but it feels good in my hand. Except...I have largfe hands and my pinky finger is looking for somewhere to rest.
I'd give it to my wife but I'm concerned about recoil.

Anyway...got 4-6 weeks to decide who gets to carry it...me or the wife. It's going back to CZ. Can't close the slide with the slide release lever. The lever won't budge unless you pull back on the slide!

Oh well...CZ say's they'll take care of it. We'll see!

Regards!

I had the same problem and I've found that that pinky fits just fine, right under the magazine.

you could by her a RAMI in 9mm. or an 82 for around 200.00$
