Hi there,
i want to buy an Ultradot L/T and with some reason i'm thinking about taking it directly in the U.S. and get it shipped to my country, Italy.

I'd like some advice on a trusted dealer that ships overseas and can be reliable in case of problems on the device.

Actually i only know the natchezss.com online store, dropped by a mail to know if there would be problems shipping an holographic sight.

Thanks everyone!

Well, I'm not -that- familiar with that type of sight, but you might be out of luck in regards to ordering it from the US.

Reason being, the US has some VERY strict rules regarding certain items that they deem "military" type items, and sights and other optics like the one you specify are often counted as restricted under these rules.

Your best bet is probably going to be contacting a few US companies that has the sight in stock, and explaining to them what you want to do. If they tell you it's a no-go, then obviously, it's not going to happen.

If they will do it, then you're free to start shopping around for the best price/company to buy it from.

Good luck!

Export is regulated by something called ITAR, and items subject to ITAR are identified by this document here:

http://www.fas.org/spp/starwars/offdocs/itar/p121.htm

It says:

(b) Riflescopes manufactured to military specifications, and specifically designed or modified components therefor; firearm silencers and suppressors, including flash suppressors.

So, does that item meet that definition?

Chances are, if you can't buy it "over there" then:

1) You can't ship it from here to "over there"

or

2) The cost of doing so (once you pay for the pallet load of red tape and paperwork) will be prohibitive

Talk with ETSS-USA

There is an Austrian man living in Hotchkiss, CO who is an exporter, he really knows his stuff. Michael and his wife are excellent shooters, she won a State award, and a "best hunting story" contest.
