Advice on PF9 for pocket carry

I've done a search, but still would like to hear from anyone with experience on carrying the PF9. I carry the Kel-tec 380 and the P11 in front pocket holsters. I find the P11 just a little large for some occasions, but I just am not comfortable carrying the .380 as my primary.

So the PF9 is the obvious compromise. But is it really a good compromise? I believe the Rorbaugh would be perfect, but I don't wanna spend that much money - I have quite a collection as it is.

Who's carried the PF9 in a pocket? I'd especially love to hear from anyone who carried the P11 and the PF9. Is the difference noticeable? Worth buying the PF9? thanx

Ive handled one this week never shot one. Better trigger than P-11 and much slimmer. Still Question if de bugged yet. I'll keep my P3AT for another year.

Yes the PF9 is worth getting if you find the P11 too big or not as comfortable. I have a P32 that is my ALL the time pistol and use the PF9 when summer days are HOT. The PF9 I just purchased last month and all the bugs seemed to have been resolved as mine has not had any issues. The trigger on it is far superior to that of the P11. It is also slimmer making it easier to carry in any fashion you want.

Get the PF9 as I don't think you'll be disappointed and keep the P11 in your car/truck.

I just cannot see where .1" thinner is going to make ME any difference. I'm more worried about the length and width dimensions. The P11 is a paltry 1" thick as it is, pretty danged slim considering magazine capacity and thin even compared to most single stack guns! It's two ounces heavier, still only 14 ounces unloaded.

I'm keepin' my P11, don't think the PF9 a big improvement and the trigger is plenty fine on the P11, a little long, but lighter than most of my DA revolvers and very smooth. It's very easy to mow down 6" plates with off hand at 25 yards quickly. Can't ask for much more.

I reckon the PF9 has had enough time to work the bugs out, though. I heard about a few early problems, but they were quickly taken care of. Kel Tec's customer service is such that I don't worry TOO much about getting a lemon, anyway. I've had the P11 for 11 years and never had to send it back. I can only remember it jamming once, when I got mixed up and tried to feed it .380 ammo. ROFL! Was wondering why they were rattling in the magazine so bad. DOH!
