Advice on removing the brush section from a 22lr boresnake required.

I don't want to use bronze bristles on my 22lr bores.

As they get cleaned regularly, there is never a big build up of debris in the barrels.

Normally I just patch them.

Now that I've finally got a boresnake, I'd like to remove the brush.

I'd be grateful if someone could advise me on the best way to do this.
