I've found that most men...regardless of need or purpose...aren't willing. They'll take a breath or bat an eye before they pull the trigger. I won't."

This is the kind of dilemma I always run through in my mind. And I realize that all things being equal, there are days I'll go one way and other days when I'll do the opposite. In other words, all mechanical and technical issues aside, it comes down to preference, and we all know how that can change.

If the price is reasonable (and only you can determine that) and both shoot flawlessly:

I'd go with the modified milspec if I liked the features, because I may never come across one exactly like that again. I can always find a new Loaded if I ever wanted one.

I'd go with the Loaded if the milspec had some "selling points" that didn't do anything for me, e.g., front serrations, internal deburring (??), etc.

Still too many "ifs"? Buy both! (Remember this is all in my head)

Real world: Buy neither and find a Colt (and I think you already did, based on your other thread).

I did buy a Colt. Despite my efforts I was too slow on the Mil-Spec. Will put together a range report of sorts after the weekend.

Thanks for all the feedback
