Affordable fixed 10x scope?

What kind of shooting are you doing that you never move your scopes from 9x??? Seems odd to me to leave a scope on a hunting rifle at 9x and if you're strictly target shooting, then you might want more than 10x.

That said, the Bushnell Elite 10x is excellent.
I only have one target rifle and the scope on it does have more power. This is for a hunting rifle. During the whitetail rifle season, I just sit in a blind and look down some looooooong senderos. The deer here tend to stay away from the blinds, so most shots are 100-250 yds. Not all that far, but not so close that 9x seems too much. I just use my bino's until I see something I like.

I wouldn't put a fixed 10x on any deer rifle, even in your situation. If you want a fixed power scope, a 6x would be more than adequate and not such a hindrance if one does wander closer. Even a 4x would work just fine.

I have 4 Bushnell 3200 10X -- 3 on either Prairie Dog Rifles and the other on a 30-06 Target Rifle -- Great Scope for the money.

I would not use one on my 30-06 Rem 700 Hunting gun -- at straight 10x it can be hard to find the close in target quickly.
