funny story I saw a guy at the range the other day sighting in a beautiful custom rifle built on a savage action

His buddy told me it was the guys africa rifle

when he told me what it was chambered in, my jaw hit the ground
he said with all seriousness ".22-250, he shoots em right in the eyeball"

I hunt hogs and deer here in FL with the 22-250 but AFRICA!? all about shot placement i guess

.22-250 is an elephant round. i wont use anything bigger than a .22 short for deer and i use a .22 magnum shotshell for goose.............ok maybe not

i'm pretty sure the .22-250 is the normal state minimum for cape buffalo, anybody who thinks otherwise is a fool!!!
