I have a glock 23 that i've had for a few months now and it shoots pretty good. I also have a springfield xd in 40. I was thinkin about loading some cast lead bullets to shoot out of both pistols. I know the thing about not suppose to shoot lead out glock barrels and i'm not really to concerned about that. I keep a close eye on all my pistols and keep them very clean so that won't be a issue. My issue is that the chamber in a glock barrel seams to be bigger than most other 40 cal and don't support the cases as well and i'm just wondering how much of a issue will that be shooting alot of reloads. That would seem to put alot of wear and tear on the cases and maybe get a rupture. Has anybody had a problem with that? What would be a good aftermarket barrel to buy that would be accurate and have a regular size chamber and also better for shooting lead? I'm new to this site so hello guys and i would app. the help.
