Who do you guys recommend for aftermarket Glock barrels? Specifically the 34/35 whichever the long one is in .40. (I don't own a Glock, I can't keep them straight).

Something with traditional rifling so that cast lead bullets can be used safely.

I use a KKM stainless steel .357SIG barrel in my Glock 35 (.40S&W). It works great. It's accurate. It cleans out very easily. I justed dropped it in and it has worked fine from the start. Looks good too.

You can get a KKM barrel in .40S&W. AFAIK, the rifling is conventional and can be used with lead bullets. Check the Glockmeister website.

Have any of you guys had a problem with reliability after dropping in a KKM or Bar Sto? Did it require any fitting or effort?

I use KKM in my glocks, the Barsto barrels I believe require some fitting.I have 3 KKMs and all dropped right in are accurate and easy to clean. But both are great barrels.

KKM's are good value for money. They are accurate and durable. One more thing that I like about them is that they drop right in on your Glocks.

Have a KKM .40 for my G20. It's totally reliable, drop-in, fully supported and more accurate than the factory Glock .40 drop-in bbl I have for my G32.

Personally, I can't think of anything on which a fitted bbl would be more out of place than on any of my Glocks. Kinda like pimping up a Volvo with fancy rims and fur on the dash.

What is the accuracy level of the KKM barrels ? I'm a dyed in the wool cast shooter and would like to know if I can expect the KKM drop in to give me group sizes of 2" or less @ 25 yds out of say a 17 or 19 9mm. Anyone done any serious accuracy testing off a bench, I know they are not target guns but I sure would like to know what they are capable of. Thanks Nick

I haven't checked Glockmeister's prices recently for KKM barrels but I think I paid about $160 for my KKM barrel. That's not a lot of money if you want to find out for yourself if it will shoot 2" groups at 25 yards.

The only reason you'd want a fitted Bar-Sto in your Glock is if you were capable of taking advantage of the increased accuracy that the fitted Bar-Sto would offer. Otherwise, you'd just be "pimping out your Volvo." KKM are great barrels, as far as drop-ins go. Check out Lonewolf Distributors for deals on KKM and other outstanding barrels for your Glocks.
