I am going to get a glock 27 due to the size and the 40 caliber. I tested one at the range and it performed flawlessly. It fed everything. A total of 3 bullets jamed in the springfield subcompact but the glock 27 fired them. However, I want to pick up an aftermarket barrel such as the briley because of better case support. Does anyone have an aftermarket barrel on their carry piece? I know the stock barrel is hard to beat in reliability but if an aftermarket barrel is just as reliable with better case support, that would be nice. Thanks.

I know of several GlockTalkers who do.

Just run several boxes glitch-free and sure.

But for the money, the Federal Arms barrels are much more affordable - made in Korea - and imported into the US.

Owned several and love them. FA

Barsto and KKM make some great barrels. Very accurate.

But for a G27 with a 3.46" barrel?????

Dang, the Barsto is $195

My G20 is a hunting pistol for deer and hopefully one day hog, so I need a nice accuaret barrel. so spending $140 is fine for my KKM 6" hunting barrel.

But for shooting at 5-15 yards, the FA for $70-75 is the best value. Just fluff, buff, and mirror polish that feed ramp!

Heck, you could buy a 9mm conversion barrel for that G27 and some G26 mags and shoot 9mm too and have two barrels and still have $50 left over.
