Never tried those. I do however shoot the std. vel. and subsonic in my CZ. They work just fine and are just as good as std. vel. CCI.

I assume pushing them a little harder might create pressure issues. Or they're trying to keep the sound out of shorter barrels down.
Always looking to learn--would a 1:9 barrel cause any issues with other .22 rounds, or make them even better? Or just the usual find-what-it-likes range .22s already have?

I wonder if this 60 grain ammo would be suited for close range self defense for those people that can only shoot .22 handguns?

Got my Winchester 69A out today. Two rounds of the Aguila at 45 paces. Not bad for a half blind 75 year old. Looks like one was wobblin and the other was pretty much straight on.
Shots were still pretty noisy even with the long barrel.

Cans tear pretty unpredictably... I wouldn't say it was wobbling just because of that...

Back during the shortage on .22 these were the only reason I was able to shoot my Henry. A local store ordered in a whole bunch on accident, they just say ".22" and figured it was money in the bank. I happened to swing by when they were about half way through the pallet, it wasn't selling very quickly since guys weren't positive it would cycle their semi rifles or pistols. I asked the nearest employee, happened to be the owner, if they had any .22 in. He was so tired of looking at his mistake he offered me the rest of the pallet at cost but only if I took all of it. At that point in time I was just happy to shoot and didn't care or know better about keyholes. I'll have to see if I have any left and check if they keyhole out of my Henry.

I use these in a Ruger Single Six to dispatch trapped raccoons, our neighborhood is overrun with them. The sound level is about the same as a firecracker and a single shot to the head puts them down quickly. When I've put these rounds on paper I've noticed some key holeing but of course when I use them on raccoons it is at point blank range and key holes are of no concern then.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trapping and shooting every raccoon that comes along, just the aggressive or destructive ones.

Like others I have never got that great of accuracy from these bullets. I did buy a barrel to fit my 10-22 with a 1/11 twist. I have had it for over 5 years and never tried it. I have about 600 rounds of this ammo on hand. The barrel I bought also has a threaded muzzle for a suppressor if I ever get one. I need to try this barrel with regular 22 ammo.

If I want quiet I use Remington CeeBee 22 or the CCI Quiet Bullet. Both shoot well and are far more accurate in my test than the Colbri or other 29 grain bullets I have tried. And I would really suggest you don't shoot the Colibri ammo out of your rifle. It says not to on the box and will stick in a longer barrel. I know because I had one stick in an old 22 rifle and ringed the barrel. It didn't seem to hurt the accuracy but I was really miffed at my self for doing it and knowing better. They work great out of my Ruger Single Sixes. (Colibri) I shot the tail off a rat with one. When you shoot the tail off a rat they go absolutely berzerk.

Our Michigan rainy season is upon us. Today the sun came out long enough for me to hit the gun club and then come home and test some more Aguila. Same 45 honest paces to the target.

There is no evidence of keyholeing in these two shots. I think 5 shots would be a better test, but my neighbors might have gotten all up tight.
The holes are about an inch apart, just like the holes in the tin can. Damn I'm good! hehehehe
