AIM Reddot, any good?

Any one know anything about this red dot that AIM is selling?

Is it just a renamed Tasco or some such? Would it be worth $25 until I'm able to afford a decent optic on my AR-15? I know I'd be getting about what I'd pay for it, but I'm just looking for something that's good enough to last until I can afford something better. Or would I be better off just sticking with the irons until then?
