AIM Surplus has FN HiPowers

For only $409 you can get an FN HiPower from AIM Surplus. They look to have minor holster wear around the edges, but otherwise in excellent condition.

I was hoping for blued...see they are epoxy finished instead. Still...if I were looking for a fancy shooter...it'd be worth refinishing, eh? If they were only $50 less...

I want one but it’s not in the budget right now. What causes me grief is the, “add $20 for hand select” nonsense. It makes me feel like if I don’t add the 20 bucks they’re going to give me the worst of the bunch. I liked AIM over the others simply because they didn’t used to do that. Why can’t they just send the best one to the first person who orders and work their way back from there?

Because they're not going to spend the time to go through every gun. The guns are probably boxed. At some places, "hand select" means they pull the next five and then pick the best of that bunch. Is that what AIM is doing now?
