Bought a new CZ75 compact a few weeks ago and finally got some range time in this past week. The CZ has 3 dot sights..something that is familiar to most shooters. As I have in the past with this system, I aligned the dots and squeezed off a round. The result was a very low hit at 6 oclock. Tried a few more rounds with the same result. Adjusted so the front dot formed a triangle in relation to the rear sight dots. This adjustment put the round where it was aimed. It was strange getting used to it but I managed to do pretty well after a while. I stopped by my gun shop to gab with the owner and talked about my range trip. He said that the CZ is a combat weapon and that European guns not meant for the American market are sighted in this manner. He had a specific name for the set up but my memory isn't what it used to be and it completely escapes me. Anyone have info on this or was I getting smoke blown at me? Either way, the gun has great ergonomics and was flawless in every other regard.
