Aimpoint Customer Service Experience?

Anyone have any experience getting an optic repaired by Aimpoint, specifically turn-around time? Also, is there a repair facility in the U.S.?

I pulled my AR-15 out of the safe last night and found that my COMP-M was messed up. The red dot only appears in the left third of the tube. I am not sure how it happened as it was working fine before I put it up about a month ago.

Haven't had any warranty work done, but I had the front flip up cover on my ML2 stop flipping up. I emailed Aimpoint about it and they sent me a new one free of charge.....had it in 3 days.

I believe all repairs are sent back to the factory in Sweden, but I would email Aimpoint North America and ask.

My Aimppint's never needed repair, but I was unimpressed with the customer service when I called to ask a question. I was told I'd get a call back, but never did.
