On cheaper Than dirt they have 3 different t1s at three different prices.. what gives? The one I'm looking at has the lrp mount and riser but is a hundred dollars cheaper than the other two.. any insight?
It was a Christmas promo. These packages were available from multiple vendors. I bought one earlier this month and threw it on a Daniel Defense mount and sold the LRP. No point in paying for the basic, full priced version. What mount do you intend to use? I ask because LaRue has the T-1 in their mount for $640 which is the same price as just the Aimpoint alone. Aimpoint has a MAP policy and I believe its right at $640 so some places are including non-factory mounts to sweeten the deal.
I like the lrp mount and riser I acutually ordered it through my local gunshop for 560 otd I'm just saw in the pictures the one I ordered has a green tinted lens and the others are an amber/ Orange tint also with no riser so I didn't know if I ordered there "budget friendly" model or if it was just a good deal
A T-1 is a T-1. Coatings can appear different shades depending on the angle. I don't have mine handy but I believe the front coating is reddish and the rear is a blue greenish.
