Aimpoint or EOTech on a .308?

Does anyone know of any reason you couldn't mount an Aimpoint or Eotech on an FAL or HK91?

Will they stand up to the additional pounding of the .308?

I had a Aimpoint on a AR10, it held up fine.

I used an Aimpoint on a bolt 30-06 without a problem .

I use a CompM2 on my 12 gauge slug gun, I don't imagine a .308 would be any worse.

Plenty of super duper ninja killers in Iraq have them on their .308s.

The Aimpoint makes more sense as it is magnified. The EOTech is just a holographic sighting device not a scope.

My vote goes to the EoTech. I like the 1moa dot for more precise longer range aiming.

If I were to shell out the cash for the Aimpoint with the magnifier I would just cough up the extra dough for an ACOG.
