There have been so many questions here (probably too many just by me) asking how to shoot better. Lots of discussion, and lots of complicated suggestions and answers. Some people might begin to think a person needs astronomical strength to shoot well.

A few years ago THR user 'roval' posted a link in the revolver forum to some videos that I thought were fascinating - that a young Thai girl (name Airnaru) could shoot better than just about anyone I know. I forgot how to find the videos, but 'roval' reminded me of the link. I thought others might enjoy watching them:

Les Baer 11mm Monolith 11mm heavy weight:

Colt Combat Commander 45:

Enjoy!

(Sorry if I'm re-posting something that's already here, but I spent half an hour searching yesterday, and couldn't find either of them.)

I don't know how far away they were. Last time you posted the links, there were lots of responses and feedback, so I posted information trying to get in contact with them. No luck. Next time I get to Thailand, I might try harder - go to the one shooting range I know of, and see if they can find out. Even if I find them though, my Thai is (was) limited to a very few words, and I don't know how well these people will speak English.

The videos are 2014 and 2015 as I recall - I'll let you know if I get hold of them. I've got lots of questions to ask....

Siam Gun Girl

Update - here's a video from September 2015, with a lot of information in Thai:

Siam Gun Girl ตอน1
If anything, her shooting has improved! (Unless you understand Thai, or can find a better translator than I could, skip ahead to the second half of the video.

Apparently Airnaru has an account on the facebook. I still have an account there from years ago - haven't touched it in maybe 5 or 6 years. That's a second way to get some feedback. I'll let you know if I find out more information.

Added later - this is her facebook page:

Maybe she will write me back.
I also invited her to come here.

I am a fan of her shooting. It looks like it's 10 meters then. I saw a 10 m. along with the gun info. As I mentioned I bought the same gun. In fact that's how I stumbled across the video. Looking for info on the heavyweight monolith.

I may need to practice more at 10 yrds but it turns out I was decent. I thought she was shooting 25 meters.
I took the first pic when I was breaking in my heavyweight monolith. The irregular hole was 6 rds with 2 flyers at 11 and 2 o'clock, offhand 10 yrds. 200 gr swc xtreme with 4.9 bullseye at 10 yrds offhand.

I thought great so I tried 25 yrds offhand with 16 rds. I had several failures to feed and had to reinsert the mag and the bullet and I got the 2nd pic. Far cry from her groups so I went back to shooting steel for the breakin.

I got a new seating depth for the swc that looks reliable. I'll try again at 10 yrds next time. I would like to get her consistency.

9mmepiphany, you're right - she wrote me that it's at 10 meters. She sent me new photos, even better than before, and told me "Now I love Sig Sauer". Her new targets are with P238 at 15 meters. I asked if I can post them here.

On YouTube, her name is Airnaru. On the facebook, it's "Siam Gun Girl".
