AK-47 Bolt Cover Replacement ?

I'll admit it I dks about AK-47's. My father recently purchased an Egyptian Maadi AK-47 and unfortunately the bolt cover has been replaced with a scope mount style bolt cover. He wants to return the rifle to it's original state without the scope mount. For all you guys in the know, what bolt cover will work? Is one bolt cover better than the others? Any help would be appreciated.
