I’m trying to decide whether or not to sell a couple of my WASR-10’s, and just wondering if there is any interest out there. The two I’m considering selling are both on the same main frame as the one in the picture (the pic is of my wife’s AK and NOT for sale, just a reference pic.) So they are similar but “Very Different”. I don’t have pics of my other AK’s as they are currently on the work bench, in pieces, undergoing complete tear-down, cleaning, and some additional custom fitting before re-assembly.

A “VERY BRIEF” description of what I might sell;

1 – Similar appearance to pic but with a much stronger Quad-Rail hand guard and stainless steel heat shield, Short vertical forward hand grip, bi-pod, synthetic NATO +1.25” stock w/storage, side mount, quick detach accessory rails, optics and of course I’ve got all types of magazines for it. If? I decide to sell it I’d probably have to get $800 or so out of it. It’s a really fun gun, reliable, accurate and extremely durable.

2- The other one’s my favorite. Same Romanian WASR-10 but Totally Tricked Out and Fit. Furniture is a matching set all O.D. Dark Green, Stainless Heat Shield, Hidden Rail Hand Guard, short vertical forward hand grip (matching) and color matched magazines. The optics and lighting I plan to put back on it include, flash light, laser, UAG Red Dot w/2x Detachable Magnifier and 6x Mark III scope. (rapid target acquisition, anytime, anywhere, is not a problem with this gun) It’s just plain FUN to see when it’s all together. Even more fun to shoot!. I’d probably need between $1295.00 and $1500.00 to let this one go???

Anyway, if anyone’s interested, let me know, I’ll send you the complete specs. ALSO; I am NOT a dealer. I’m just trying to organize the work bench, prioritize some projects.

I don't see a lot of WASR's going for quite that much, even with a lot of good accessories. If you look in the for sale section here, and google around (gunbroker, auction arms, etc) you can find other packages similar to yours that will let you get an estimate of what a fair market value might be. You'll also have to consider that your guns are technically used (as in you've fired them) and that reduces resale value as well.

Just my opinion.

Thanks for the advice and opinions, I'll check out the buy, sell, trade right now.
Rail Driver - Thanks for the input, I'm beginning to think these AK's are just like my HD's (harley davidsons). You can load them up with tons of chrome...but... that doesn't mean someone else is going to fall in love with it....lol

When people customize their guns to that extent they will never get the amount they want for it. No offense intended, I do it too. I tacticooled out a Remington 11-87 (I was young and dumb) that I bought foe $650. I put a red dot, pistol grip stock, mag extension, mag/barrel clamp, and large bolt assist on it. Overall I had nearly $1100 in it. After sitting for over a month on gunbroker it sold for $650, exactly what I paid for it.

A WASR10 is a WASR10. Those are nice rifles, with those improvements, but they are still what they are. Base price 400 or so. I hope you get your price, there might be someone out there who wants exactly that rifle.

You may be better off selling the accessories, or at least some of them, seperately and reducing the AK price as those prices on a WASR cause serious sticker shock.

You would do better by putting the guns back to original shape and
selling all your extras.
You will move stuff alot faster also.

If I were you I'd wait until it's closer to the presidential election, or right after. I'm sure gun prices will shoot up like they always do. You might even get something like those prices if you wait until then. I have an AK I bought when they were cheap that I plan on making a killing on myself from all the election hysteria.
