AK 47s no longer cheap in Iraq

I'd like to shoot a Panzerfaust 100m.

Im suprized the insurgents dont just outright copy the panzerfaust, at least in theorie. cant be too hard and a mortar round for a payload might be worthy, Ive seen vid's of someone cranking off an RPG-7 with a 82 mm mortar bomb for a payload, as well as Iraq'i home made launchers that seem to set off RPG-7 rounds or rockets from aircraft....kinda likea modern Panzerfaust or Panzerschrek.....:D

Panzerschreck would be the bees knees, reloadable weapon rather than single shot disposable. But If I could use late war German tech I'd also own an STG 44...which I also don't have. :(

American weapons are also trickling in; a few sellers offer M16s or MP5s at $2,800 to $3,500 apiece.

Yeah but the M16s and MP5s would still be a bargain over here! :)

Interesting to see what appears to be a box of Federal "American Eagle" ammo in the background of the headline photo.

Crazy hear that prices rose to $4 a round when ISIS was advancing on Erbil. I'm gonna be honest too, if we did not hit ISIS with airstrikes to "protect interests" in Erbil, it would have fell to the Islamic state with the peshmerga being executed en masse. Now they are losing steam being that we are bombing the crap out of them in many places now and with each person they behead, we step up the attacks and their fighters and supporters are seeing this, and wanting to abandon ship now.
