I have a converted WASR-10 putting on a ATI Strikeforce stock and it call for use of original grip screw. This Wasr did not have a pistol grip so what size screw would i need if i tried to find at hardware store based on the grip nut i order it looks metric maybe 6mm not sure nor how long it needs to be any help is appreciated. Worse case maybe i could re tap the nut to like 1/4x20 thread or simular

Let me be the first to jump in and say...."make sure you follow 922r when converting a thumbhole AK to a pistol grip" You will have to change other parts to US made parts, likely a total parts count of 6 or 7. The parts are specific to the law and you must get the "Foreign" parts to below 10. I'm sure I mangled that is some way; I'm not an expert on 922r but there are lots of posts on this message board if this is news to you. If you knew this, sorry for waisting your time.

as far as your orig. question, I dont know the thread pattern I got mine for a few bucks at a gun show.:)

i have all the parts to meet that requirement trigger kit piston muzzle break stock kit and magazine kits all us made i have atleast min plus 2 thanks for the heads up though
