AK scope mount

I currently have a side mount for my AK but it always comes loose after about 60 rounds and i have to constantly tighten the screw to keep it on does anyone know how to stop that or should i just get the reciever cover with the rail on it

Blue lock-tight on the screw and pliers to tighten it.

Most of the receiver cover mounts are pretty worthless.
By design the receiver cover is loose, and moves around with little provocation.
The ones that work are attached with a series of screws along the sides of the receiver.

Then you have to take it off every time you clean the gun, and it won't always go back to zero again.

Ak's where not designed with mounting a scope on them in mind. They have a pretty good recoil & I don't know if there is a perfect fix for your problem. I got a new item the other day from US Palm that you can consider here is a link. What side rail mount are you using? Look into ultimak, midwest industries, and kalinka optics for quality mounts.
