All shooting was done at 15 yards. The first ten mags are all Mec-Gar mags, the flush fitting 18 round AFC mags and the extended 20 round AFC mags (as you can see the extension on the 20 round mags is not that much for an extended mag).
First up is the new-to-me 92G centurion. As the locking block of a 92 is a wearable part and this is a twenty year old gun, I wanted to replace it before I dumped a huge amount of ammo down the tube. So, I reset the odometer to zero. I replaced all the springs, small pins, plunger pin, and locking block. 650 rounds without pause, including 50 of my chosen 9mm carry load, Hornady's 135 grain Critical Duty (not Defense).
I experienced no malfunctions at all. This Beretta 92 has the best trigger of all the ones I own (probably because it has been shot sooo many times) yet it displays the phenomenon of first round flyer that my other 92s don't. This is my new carry gun with an 18 round flush mag and one in the tube with two 20 round mags on my hip.
The 92G and targets:
I finally got to try the 92fs with the new Recover tactical grips and they are awesome and they hold zero with the laser perfectly.
I use this gun as my home defense handgun with a 20 round mag loaded to 20+1.
This target is using the sights:
And this one is just using the laser from the hip:
And finally my Beretta Inox which I plan to use in the production category of USPSA:
