Back to the OP's question and the answer would be Unique for the most versatile over ALL the handgun calibers Ignoring the metering aspect. But if I had a choice I also would vote for THREE different ones--slow, medium, and fast. Take your pick of brand. On the other hand for what calibers YOU personally load I would get the one that works best for the load I shoot most of and use it as acceptable with just OK results in the other ones. That said, I am at the point that I can and do have a can for every load I assemble so it becomes my "best" load for that particular load combo.

That being said are you on a SS press or progressive? Are you a bullseye shooter or a recreational plinker? Are your recipes at almost max loads or mid range?

I can begin to see a trend from differing schools of thoughts...I can understand .1 being unacceptable if I was at max loads already just from a safety standpoint but when I’m at low to mid range load it doesn’t bother me at all.
I load on SS press and weigh every charge on a scale.+/-1gr is just my personal preference. I load rifle ,handgun minimum and maximum load range.
