Allen & Wheelock .44 Calibre Revolvers

Allen & Wheelock were probably better known for their various size Pepperboxes, but, they also made some very cool looking Big Bore and Belt size Percussion Revolvers, and, various 'Lip Fire' Cartridge ones also.

Anyone have or shoot one of these?

I sure like them..!

Thank you for posting that Oyeboten, I didn't know about the existance of those revolvers.

Add those to the list Uberti should be making.

They look like they would have some heft to them, the larger ones anyway.

All seem very appealing.

The 'Lip Fire' would be a tough one to find ammo for of course...but, a clver person could probably find a way to make some I guess.

There were a lot of interesting designs back then.

I will be keeping an Eye peeled at the Gun Shows!
