Alliant 2400 and .223 Rem

I was looking through some old reloading data and saw that 2400 could be used for the .223. I looked on Alliants website and saw that they do recommend 2400 as a load for the .223. I happen to have about 6lbs of the stuff for .357 mag.
Anyone use this for .223 with any success?

2400 is used in 223 rem when loading cast bullets.

Give it a try. Alliant has data for all types and weights of bullets. I use 2400 in my 221 Fireball with excellent results. Accuracy, velocity and barrel stays cooler longer.
